Leashell Ammons Weido, 51, of Scronce Creek, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home, after a long illness. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of Carrol Ammons of Weaverville and Nadine Crain Shelton of Mars Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Ammons and Maternal grandparents Bill and Pauline Crain. Leashell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her husband: Randall Weido; children: Stephanie Cutshall of Burnsville, Heather Whitson of Mars Hill and Chad Williams of Candler, 2 grandchildren: Travis and Olivia Whitson of Mars Hill; two brothers: Greg Ammons of Cheney, WA and Keith Ammons of Weaverville and a sister: Tina Reavis of Weaverville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Don Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in the Roy Crain Cemetery on Scronce Creek. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
